yesterday, it’s AWESOME!!!!! Had an iPhone before.. It’s quite peppy
and once there’s more apps it’ll probably overtake the iPhone IMHO.

yes you’re right that wp7 has some strict hardware requirements and that’s another reason, although since winmo was on the device it was approved hardware by microsoft which allowed for it to be installed.

Incorrect. The only reason was that the *hardware* was supported. Not the OS. WinMo has absolutely nothing to do with WinPho.

That will never happen. The only reason windows phone 7 could run on the hd2 is because it was originally windows (windows mobile). Also, good luck on getting a license to have Xbox or any of the core Microsoft features to work.

What’s the point? People who wan’t Windows Phone 7 don’t want Android. Even if you did want to dual-boot, the HTC HD2 would be a much more versatile and mature option.

Samsung does not provide support for their WP devices, not really. MS does. And seeing their current position in the market, i’m quite sure they will not dare to abandon devices prematurely.

It would be interesting to see Windows Phone run on Android devices (the other way round, basically) Not just launchers and apps on the Android Market, but rather the Full-Blown Windows Phone experience, complete with XBOX Live, Office, and the greatness that is the Windows Phone OS.
