the only caveat to the Venue Pro (I have one) is that as a first-gen device, the new updates for Mango that allow wifi sharing and a few other things are missing. other than that, I agree it's very solid. And everyone always comments on the responsiveness. (And that's not just the hardware, but the OS itself). 'Boot' times are extremely fast also. While I love the new phones, as a techie, I miss the power-user features. But .. as a device targeting the 'average' consumer (who has slowly been fitted with mittens by the big carriers) it does the job well - far better for an initial release than either the iOS or Android initial releases. That might not seem like much, but it simply means they are off to a better start and will make up that ground extremely fast. I can't wait for a Lumia 900. (Or the next-gen dual-core)

I agree with the other posts, but it shows that you have to find a store and get someone to show you a live wp7 that has been used by one of the sales people ,with all the bells and whistles flipping around etc etc
You have to rip my focus off my dead body ,unless you want to exchange it for a nokia 900 which will be my next one
I find it an incredible useful tool and the best money spend on a phone ever.
Like they said , give it a try

Yes, try one and see. Completely different experience then winmo of old. Even all my friends have stopped pulling out their phones to get direction or searches when I'm around. They know whose phone will be the fastest (Dell Venue Pro btw!) @google-7a8386955a35b9a3fe9f41bfb5ad3aa3:disqus Just buy a cheap used one off Craigslist, make sure it has Mango and you'll agree. I got a buddy who had recently bought the iPhone4s, to buy a Samsung Focus, 100 bucks off Craigslist. Guess which phone he no longer uses. That's right the iPhone 4s. It's hands down worth a shot.
