So the concepts look nice but how realistic are they? Tell WIMM to put up or shut up. Keep it simple, make something gorgeous and semi-capable, and people will go for it. Sony almost had it but their watch was/is a clunker. Let’s get something a little more svelte and nice looking. No more boxy prototypes.

Remember those monochromatic watches from Fossil at Google I/O two or so years ago? They were gorgeous but Fossil never came through. People were clamoring over them but they dropped the ball. They weren’t even that feature rich but they looked damn good.

That is what wearable tech needs–it needs to look damn good. Who cares what it can do if you have to wear a huge popcorn box on your wrist?
