If you just can’t live without the latest in Wii accessories, you’ll be pleased to know the Wii Steering Wheel II has been announced and is available now for avid Wii racing game lovers and those that just need each and every remote holder.

So what sets this steering wheel add-on apart from the previous version? Apparently, this one works with the new Wiimote + Motion Plus. Well, that’s all fine and well, but it’s still just a plastic casing for your controller, right?

The Wii Steering Wheel II will cost you just $10, but I’m not even sure if that’s worth it. I mean, think about it: this device is just a plastic shell. That’s it! Can’t you just hold the Wiimote sideways and imagine you’re driving?
