Loading ...There seemed to be a lot of color choices for the Wii in its early renderings showing it in black, silver, white, green, and red. But in a recent interview, Nintendo’s Planning General Manager, Mitsuaki Hagishima, said that there are no plans to release the Wii in any other colors besides white. However, the Wii-motes will be in different colors so that gamers wont confuse their controllers with those of their friends. I suppose that is a frequent problem? What about confusing Wii consoles?

This SERIOUSLY sucks. I was fully planning on lining up for the wii, but there’s no point if I’m not *completely* satisfied. I’m surprised not many people are pissed about this…white won’t go nicely with all my other peripherals, so I guess I’ll have to wait.
Call me superficial for waiting just for the colour, but it’ll always bother me if I get it in white :(
The color doesn’t bother me much, and other colors will be available in time, just like the DS Lite (which started here as white-only, but is now also available in black and pink).
