This is some of the best trolling I have ever seen. You would think Nintendo completely destroyed your life to nothingness by the way you sling around all of the derogatory comments towards the company and its fans. I understand you have opinions about a company you apparently have hate for, but taking your frustration out on its fans is just arrogance.

In terms of Nintendo and any company for that matter, they all ride the wheel of fortune. You can only ride the high horse for so long before you fall. Consoles in general I personally think are on their way out, but that's another story. Where I think you are blinded by Nintendo hate though is saying that premium hardware makes the best system... That is crazy talk right there. Innovation is what makes people say huh what?? look over there! Apple for example has insane market share because they are innovators, and drive that sort of emotion in general consumers. Let's also not forget that mobile is taking over. So investing a ton of money in some technology that is already going to be obsolete at launch is not the single key component to a winning formula. Companies like Sony would need to do this to over compensate for not having things like Xbox Live's infrastructure or Nintendo's innovation/ips. Point being that everyone has a different formula. Today's generation is stuck on oooh shiny mentatlity which is just primal... To that note if you really want something to be shiny why buy a console limited to 1080p running out dated hardware, and not just marginally upgrade your pc if that's all you really care about?

In the gaming industry I personally feel its more about what sort of infrastructure you have in place to support your user base and keep them connected to the outside world. This is Microsoft's strategy and they are winning that battle hands down. In summary my point is release your hate my friend, its easy to attack the company and its fans, but if your are not going to come up with a REAL strategy of how to make these companies successful then your comments are baseless and purely driven from emotion/anger.

If this indeed a joke as I'm guessing its pretty funny in laughing at all fanboys. All systems have their ups and downs and its all preference. I personally rarely touch my 360 because I don't feel it has as many games that appeal to me. Personal opinion not fact.

Yeah it was so annoying when the Nintendodrones plauged game videos on youtube with their comments about how a game would be better on Wii and that Xbox 360/PS3 was sh*t and that their graphics suck.
And then there was the drama around the whole Bayonetta 2 exclusive to Xbox 360 thing, they went as far as sending death threats to Platinum Games and Microsoft which is f*cked.
And when Nintendo fanboys ripped into Sony fanboys when the Vita failed to sell well despite the Sony fanboys doing nothing like that to Nintendo fanboys.
Nintendo fanboys need to get the f*ck off the internet, us Microsoft and Sony fanboys are far more civil and never f*ck everyone off with their sh*t comments about how the 3DS is doomed and that the Wii U will fail. They would never say anything like that unless it is a response or it's constructive criticism.
They claim Nintendo innovates but I see no evidence, they always copy other companies e.g when they stole analouge sticks and shoulder buttons from sony, when they stole the d-pad from sega or when they stole motion controls from Mattel.

There's a big difference between companies like Sony and Microsoft, which are in multiple industries, and a company like Nintendo which pretty much only makes consoles and games. Sony is a company in need of a turn around, but there's way more to it than just the PS3. Sony makes all kinds of electronics. They've got tablets, phones, cameras, and other devices which are all struggling. Microsoft on the other hand is still making plenty of money. Profits like Microsoft's are a pretty good indication that they're doing something right.
Businesses have ups and downs, but Nintendo was a solid company. When a company goes from 30 years of profitability, to a loss, that's not just a lull in business, to me that says there are problems. I'd like to see Nintendo learning from their mistakes, but given what we know about the Wii U so far, I don't think they have. I just can't see Nintendo making a come back when they're using cutesy names and gimmicks in their flagship console. Can anyone over the age of 8 actually say "Wii U Miiverse" with a straight face? The young adults of today are the ones who would love to play fresh new Zelda and Mario titles, but Nintendo's current offerings do not even have that group in mind.

Uh, when a company posts it's first annual loss in over 30 years, that's generally a sign that something is not right. Maybe you don't understand this whole business thing, but losing money is bad. So yes, Nintendo is struggling, that's exactly what it means that they've posted their first loss. Nintendo used to own the gaming industry, but now they're on their way to becoming a niche player. Nintendo needs a change in direction, otherwise they're going to be headed for their second, third, fourth annual losses.

Nintendo used half its production budget on the tablet controller, meaning the console itself is pretty much worth $150. The true next-gen consoles can be absolute beasts at the exact same price of the Wii U, without having to cut all the corners that Nintendo loves cutting lately.

Nintendo fans need to realize that Nintendo won't improve unless they fail. Nintendo's coddled way too much, no one calls out their mistakes when they make them so they just keep making mistakes constantly. It's horrific to see, especially since Nintendo's turned into the Apple of the game industry. I grew up on Nintendo games and consoles and this is the first generation I've ever defected, I'm ashamed of what Nintendo's become. They haven't created a good new IP in over a decade, Pikmin being the last decent one they've produced. Since then they've just sat on their asses and repeated the same old crap they've done for over a decade, of course fans eat that crap up because they're imbeciles unable to think for themselves. Whatever, this is gonna be Nintendo's last console if they know what's good for themselves. They're worse with third-party developers than either of their two competitors and they suck at making hardware; they literally chose to have the tablet controller over having a decent console. It could've been a true next-gen console and pushed technology forward with proper UE4 support and real 1080p support(Call of Duty, one of the least resource-intensive games on the market, runs at 1080p on the Wii U. Nintendo's own Pikmin 3 does not). They made the wrong decision and I think it's gonna bite them in the ass.

Honestly, modern Nintendo is a shell of its former self. They're a freaking husk, a bastardization of what came before. Modern Nintendo can rot for all I care.

Nintendo fans need to realize that Nintendo won’t improve unless they fail. Nintendo’s coddled way too much, no one calls out their mistakes when they make them so they just keep making mistakes constantly. It’s horrific to see, especially since Nintendo’s turned into the Apple of the game industry. I grew up on Nintendo games and consoles and this is the first generation I’ve ever defected, I’m ashamed of what Nintendo’s become. They haven’t created a good new IP in over a decade, Pikmin being the last decent one they’ve produced. Since then they’ve just sat on their asses and repeated the same old crap they’ve done for over a decade, of course fans eat that crap up because they’re imbeciles unable to think for themselves. Whatever, this is gonna be Nintendo’s last console if they know what’s good for themselves. They’re worse with third-party developers than either of their two competitors and they suck at making hardware; they literally chose to have the tablet controller over having a decent console. It could’ve been a true next-gen console and pushed technology forward with proper UE4 support and real 1080p support(Call of Duty, one of the least resource-intensive games on the market, runs at 1080p on the Wii U. Nintendo’s own Pikmin 3 does not). They made the wrong decision and I think it’s gonna bite them in the ass.

Honestly, modern Nintendo is a shell of its former self. They’re a freaking husk, a bastardization of what came before. Modern Nintendo can rot for all I care.

It's a Gamepad, not a tablet. I bought the first person shooter NOVA 2 for my S3 recently. Great graphics.... how many times do you think i've played it? Twice.
That's my point exactly. Honestly, who doesn't love Mario and Zelda? It's hard to picture a company with rights to those great games struggling the way Nintendo is. But on the Wii, the graphics and experience of games like Call of Duty is nowhere near what it's like on the PS3 or Xbox. And while the Wii would get a major title here and there, often times months after other consoles, I feel like the bulk of the games for the Wii were either gimmicky games that heavily used the motion control feature (Anything with a title of Wii ______ ) and games based off of movies or cartoons. Nintendo could in essence clone the Xbox or PS3, and probably make a boatload of money just off the three franchises you mentioned. Heck, I'd be a buyer if they did that. But I think they've estranged the long time gamers and even many game makers with with the Wii. Not a good trade-off considering the only group the picked up seems to be the hyperactive 10-and-under crowd who think wildly swinging the controller around is more fun than any of the games themselves. I want to see Nintendo get back to it's roots and stop with the gimmicks.

Whether Nintendo and Wii U gets third party games in the long haul will depend on whether the games are successful. It's as simple as that. All Nintendo needs is one hit third party game and the others will follow. And that's what Nintendo should be concentrating on: getting a hit third party game. Luckily for Nintendo some of the best games have been moved to next year, so if one of the launch titles such as Assassin's Creed 3, ZombiU or Call of Duty is successful, that will surely encourage not only those devs, but other devs to support the Wii U. That's pretty much how this industry works anyway.

The game lineup is one thing, but I think Nintendo's real problem is that they've neglected the game. Anyone who plays the so called 'adult games' on the Xbox and PlayStation, I can guarantee you grew up playing Super Mario, Donkey Kong, and the Legend of Zelda on Nintendo's consoles. Those are classic franchises that will always have fans. But Nintendo has bungled it's console business. Now instead of appealing to all ages, which they have the potential to do, they have aimed their marketing efforts squarely at children. Rather than making a console with the hardware to match up against the competition, Nintendo has instead come up with this Frankenstein of gimmicks that they're calling the Wii U. Motion control, multiple screens, touch screen, tablet-esque controller, it's got everything that's hot in the tech world right now, but nothing that really lends itself to gaming. I think Nintendo needs to stop trying to be too clever, and offer up an alternative to the other consoles, with a lineup of quality franchises that all ages can enjoy.

Wii U has more impressive launch games than previous consoles had.

I think ZombieU is a must have, I mean really...there is nothing quite compared to its gameplay, with its intriguing use of the gamepad, no pausing.

COD black ops 2, if you are into that type of game, is considered a must have. Wii U is the only console that can render it in full 1080p 60 fps. if you are going to play it on any console, Wii u would be it.

Sony copied?
What about Microsoft copying Playstation Eye? I have an Xbox myself, but I know that Sony has the best exclusives and Playstation Plus is better than Xbox Gold (search it up).

Motion controls were invented way before Nintendo, and FYI the Playstation Move's sales sucked, so there's not any reason for Nintendo to she anyway.
WiiU will be on par with other consoles if it has great games, great online (which Nintendo is just doing right now) and is innovative like the previous Wii.

Gaming isn't necessarily about the graphics, but also about the gameplay, in fact I'd even say that gameplay is even more important than graphics.

Btw, it's 'sue' not 'sew'.

I don't see a single must have title for launch day, and even for the launch timeframe, their just isn't really anything great. A lot of these games are on or will already be on ther systems. Plus I read the hardware blows for what should be "next gen". I already have an iOS and android tablet, don't need a Nintendo one.

"Why the Wii U's launch lineup is impressive".. (because Nintendo paid me to say so as a promo)

A lineup doesn't have to impress, it's the actual games that need to and only exclusive titles will make folks buy the console. Helped or hindered on the feedback.

I enjoy all three game consoles right now. PS3, 360 and Wii. Plenty of games on each console although the 360 gets played the least only because there aren't too many exclusives for the 360, and my game platform of choice is PS3 because of free online. Wii is a great second console and makes a great addition to either a PS3 or 360. However when the Wii U is out I'm getting all my 3rd party games on it rather then PS3 or 360.
