Lol, the show was good, people need to complain less about the new ideas they try and more about how bigger companies try milking them to start charging the same as cable.

I cant wait till your isp's start charging you an extra fee for every minute you spend on YouTube or Hulu. You know, since Comcast and Fios are pissed that people like me buy dish over cable for the few decent channels available, and get our "premium blockbuster" content from netflix and or redbox, or you know, the theater? :P. Why would a smart person spend money at blockbuster or a premier package anymore?

Blockbuster always tries to make you pay for movies you returned, which is either on purpose or because of unprofessional employees, but neither reason makes it ok does it?

And cable providers and DirectTV want to charge you $80+ (WITH tax, wtf?). At least Dish network is smart enough to charge reasonably, $40- for more channels and the same "premium content" which of course airs 3 hours earlier over satellite. xD

The mainstream nowadays isn't quite as dumb or bored as the mainstream back when cable was new, and there wasn't the internet to supply you with a million of things to do or discover without leaving home.

TV is almost a big a scam as phones now. Two Androids and a hotspot for each, using Skype, saves me $120 over an unlimited 4g smart phone plan a month, with "unlimited data". Can still use the phone company networks for emergency calls to boot. :D I get the great smart phone operating system of my preference to enjoy anywhere on top of it all.

It is a natural evolution of the concept. But I wonder if they'll be able to move as fast as Youtube and Amazon in this area. They're still so much smaller than their real competition.

I know there is a worry about content cost, but I think Netflix would be better suited to create their own movies or miniseries. Much of the Scifi channel's early content was continuing cancelled shows like Sliders, Stargate, etc.. Netflix would need 12 shows with 13 episodes which would cost alot of money without the option of cancelling the show.

Astoundingly stupid idea,more like.

Studios make 10 shows, throw them at us, and hope a couple stick. They can afford it. Netflix can't.

That money should have been used to pay for shows and movies WE KNOW WE WANT TO SEE.

I'd rather have threes company, flintstones, Brady bunch, and all in the family reruns honestly.
