I believe LG Electronics has found its competitive advantage over its rivals based on its latest WOLED technology. Other TV industries should follow suit.

like the competition and my suggestion is that they should go ahead with the
OLED TV fight. I’m optimistic that with the latest WOLED tech, LG might carry
the day second by Samsung.

as the champion of 3D TV. This year’s 2012, still in Las Vegas, CES has
announced that LG OLED TV is the leading champion followed by Samsung. What a
great competition going on in the TV industries.

Than to go in for a different brand like Sony, or Panasonic that am not very use to, i rather stay with my LG 3D TV. i really love the picture quality, apps, shape, design and the brightness is good as well. more to that, i got it at a very good deal.

Agree Sony, stuff is junk and their software gets hacked. Play stations exclusive games suck, save the drakes they are good.

Why you you want a 24″ active 3d tv that is 720p for a crazy price. He even says in the article his monitor is bigger where are you going to put this that you not going to just hook your ps3 up to a bigger TV?This article is filler, this TV is filler, unexceptional in every way.

The fact that it has a subwoofer it should sound much better than most flat screens. I mean I still have a 60 something inch Mitsubishi TV which the sound is AMAZING!! Point is most HD flat screens you need to spend more $ for a sound system to sound better, louder with alotta bass. Idk bout this one of it sounds great I’ll buy.

You do know the big picture of this screen is the technology sony patent. It allows two people to see different things on the screen so when playing something split screen you can play full instead of half a screen.

walmart has a 32 inch vizio 3d tv for $499. comes with 2 pairs of glasses. works great. if you order it online you get it for like $478. I love playing the ps3 games in 3 d so much that right now if something come out that looked okay that wasn’t 3d I probably wouldn’t even feel like playing it.

I’ll definitely be picking this up. My wife has been pining for a 3d TV and since we both game with 46 inch LCD(s) this will enable both of us to give 3d a go before leaping into a significant investment. Since Two copies of R3 are a given for us as well … I just hope it comes out closer to R3 release date or we’ll have some issues … lol

Most of you are forgetting Sony’s rule of thumb. If we build it, they will buy it. Seriously, how many of you will buy this honestly? The idea of the TV having a PS3 built-in will set this thing far ahead in the gaming market. @twitter-19211003:disqus I agree, HD could not and never will be a FAD. Everyone prefers HD over SD, unless you are satisfied with pixelated, stretched, fuzzy, and just unpleasant visuals. As for the 3D and the future of technology, it sounds great but not inevitable. I commented before how Nintendo paves the way for Innovation, as with the Nintendo 3DS, and Sony & Microsoft will mock success. Thus, I think this is a bad idea Sony.

Ive read the official ps blog and it says that you can use it not only as a 3D monitor but also it has 1080p hd aswell so you don’t have to use the 3D function.

you can tell you have never had a 3d tv most tvs at that price require you to buy a 3d converter as well so add at least another 100 i should know i have a 73 inch 3d mitsibishi and the price of the tv was not bad but all the extras add up this tv that sony is sell has a built in emmitter so get the facts straight

That’s probably true, but Sony already charges $150 plus tax to fix/replace a broken PS3 that’s past warranty… no matter what’s wrong with it.

I can’t even being to imagine how much they’d charge for a TV/PS3!

That price is a rip off, you can get a 42″ 1080p 3D plasma LG for $439. 24″ 3D monitors are available for $350+; there is also no tv tuner in display that is included in this package so it is not a tv. 4ms is decent but for the price it should be less. You look at the price and it is definitely not worth it. For a technology and video game columnist you should do more research before you post inaccurate opinion pieces like this; especially since you recommend that people buy this overpriced package.
