I have the black and white iphone 4, as it was delayed in production i bought a white back for my black one and fitted it myself then noticed when putting flash whilst in camera mode the flash was leaking into the camera lense making my pictures distort and unclear. Now i have one of each i come to realise that it is fact that the back door itself on the white that is slighter thicker than the black version, I would say this is the reason why it is slightly thicker as they had to work around a better camera fixing to prevent this???????….

But; apple is soon releasing a new series of cases that will fit the new white iphone.

Initially the new cases are only available in black.

Nice post had me cracking up but apple delayed iPhone 5 production til September cuz of various dumb factors such as the tsunami in Japan which has nothing to do with iPhone production considering they get a bulk of their parts in China and Taiwan. From a marketing stand point, they do not want to piss American Customers off who just did a 2 year contract for the white iPhone 4 and 5 is released in two months! If your in que for iPhone, you wont get it til id predict november or december as it goes “in production” in September. To make matters worse, it still does not support the 4G network or verizon 4G LTE and would still be a 3G! Imagine iPhone 5 3G is bad enough that 3G is associated with the iPhone 4! and people who call it 4G or iPhone 4G are plain old dumb!

Seriously you’re going to trust people in a country that still uses the English system to be able to eyeball in Metric? No – 0.2mm is the difference there, 1mm would have been quite noticeable. Also… maybe I’m a bit funny here, but there ARE completely opaque white pigments (they’re like an “Egg Shell” or “Offwhite”) that let in far less light than standard white – I still do not see why it took 10 months to conquer this engineering feat – it almost came out after the iPhone 5′s announcement.

Which brings me to my final point – why are people wasting cash on a white iPhone 4? I can see if you’re replacing a broken one perhaps but seriously… iPhone 5 is 2 months away… why bother?
