seen their latest high speed rail from Guanzghou to Beijing? Been on it and it’s built to standard and done on time, unlike your joke of a country which hasn’t even got a proper one built. and you call yourselves a s superpower. In what exactly, invading and occupying countries, that’s so lame and 19th century.

Its really not even about the money. Think about how staggeringly big the death star really is! I don’t think we have enough raw materials on planet earth to even build such a thing. To say nothing of the complete lack of ability.

Most petitions lack legitimacy for a reason. It’s way too easy to get someone to sign a petition for something like this anyway.

Isn’t the US’s entire yearly budget something like 4 Trillion dollars?

That would be like over 200,000 years of straight funding :/
Even if you wanted 1% of the Death Star it’d take about 2,000 years of straight funding.

If you want to start a kickstarter campaign and can achieve your goal in the next 1,000 years then give it a shot.

Kill two birds with one stone…mint an 850.001 quadrillion dollar platinum coin and deposit it with the Fed. Debt ceiling crisis averted. The global confusion over America’s sanity will drown out the noise regarding the 0.001 quadrillion actually used to avoid default. The bond rating agencies can’t possibly downgrade someone who has 850 quadrillion dollars in the bank. Unlimited defense spending, something for everyone here. Doesn’t matter if we actually build it or not…
