I own a PS3 and the party system is crap. I've heard that i have problems connecting because of my NAT type, but ive fixed that and i still have just as much trouble. I really don't like how XBOX get's the DLC first just because they have 2 pay for their gameplay( that's their fault!!!) I just buy the COD games because i need something to do...

I'm done with Black Ops with exception to playing private Zombie mode. Treyarch will not get another dime from me. I enjoy playing Free For All mode and think that it was done well by Infinity Ward. I always get a match (and within 10 seconds of turning the game on). With Black Ops I have had experiences where I could walk out of the room for 10 mins at a time and the matching has yet to get me in a game lobby. The lag and accuracy of the weapons is bad too. The multiplayer took two steps back from where Infinity Ward took it. Not to say that Infinity Ward is on a pedestal. It was shameful that they never addressed the nuke boosting... but at least I still had a desire to play the game and get some quality experiences with it. Black Ops is now in my "to sell" queue and I await the next COD release for next year. Anyone know what that might be and which developer is doing it?

Seriously do you know what your talking about, u here those comments about connection problems from complainers, who probablly have a bad connection themselves not with the online server. Me myself have Comcast and I haven't experienced connection issues in awhile, not since the first week of the game atleast. And Treyarch has released more patches in the past month then mw2 had in its lifetime which is 10. Treyarch IS trying to make its players happy, and i don't think anyones noticing in Mw2 there is still glitches today that there was at its release, Black Ops on the other hand has already had all wall breaches fixed Mw2 had NONE fixed. I find it so odd that people say Mw2 was a better game when nearly no problems were fixed and it was flooded with hackers. Consider this, how many hackers have you in Black Ops compared to Mw2? And also think of this how many glitches were there in Mw2? I think people need to stop complaining so much, the gamers of today are so bitchy.....

I do think that Treyarch is trying to fix it, but they should've seen this coming. I mean, yea, what happens if they don't fix it. What happens if the Xbox remains fine but PS3 gets worse? A free map pack would make me happy. Xbox users can suck it. You guys get everything first, and I mean EVERYTHING. And, it just gets boring after a while. Can't PS3 owners for ONCE get something BEFORE Xbox gets it? Well, i doubt we'll get it free, and it just makes me mad that Treyarch hasn't commented on the problems but instead about how many hours are being played or how much money they're making. It really ticks me off.

At the end of the day , if other developers and other platforms can get it right , Switch your platform , But as Louis said , its a Console problem and its the job of both the developer and the platform operator to make it easier / provide a Fix .

From my point of view I wouldn't dream of playing an FPS, RPG , or MMO on anything but
a pc , traditionally they are just better at at , same as I don't think racing games , Sports games , party games or beat em ups work well on a PC or Mac

You wouldn't expect to hoover your house with a rake , so why are people trying to do so or expect to be able to, use the tool for the job and be happy.

I have a PS3 and have enjoyed playing the COD Games for many years, but for the past 2 games (MW2 and Black Ops) its only been for the campaign. I am sick of lag, crashes, glitches, amongst other things plaguing the Online portions of the PS3 versions! I have had to put BlackOps aside and have moved on to Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit, and let me say that game has NO online ISSUES at all!! Its a miracle--Treyarch few tips 1) Give us the DLC for free. 2) FIX THE ISSUES STAT. I highly doubt ill be getting COD:2011

I have been working in the gaming industry for a while. The issues like connectivity is quite a difficult problem to address. Its a kind of thing where it can happen only when there are hundreds of thousands of users online and playing the game. Each person has a varied connection, a different router and a different setup in connecting to a game. Also, these patches need to go through the first party i.e. microsoft, sony or nintendo, before they can go live (which takes around a week minimum) and they do cost quite a lot (around $50,000 per submission). So, its easy to blame a developer from a consumer standpoint, but there are certain things which just needs some time to get addressed.

I had a PS3 to start with when I got this game and for the most part I was ignoring the fact that I had 3-4 bars of connection and was still lagging but there comes a point where it's just too much and it actually made me switch over to a 360 because why put up with it if its darn near perfect on the competitions? What I think Treyarch should do is just quit trying. I know MW2 was the biggest piece of crap to the CoD franchise but Black Ops has taken over that award. MW2 is better than Black Ops and Treyarch has tried TWICE to take over IW and have failed miserably don't get me wrong I love W@W but its still crap.

Im a 360 owner and the connectivity problems are horrible! I cant imagine what it must be like on the ps3 side. The last game I played with such messed up multiplayer was Operation Flashpoint Dragon Rising. I think with such a well known, well sold game the developer/publisher have a duty to ship a FINISHED product that has gone through the absolute hardest tests and comb throughs before release and if it has bugs bust there butt to get those patches and hotfixes out asap, and I dont want to hear it cant be done because blizzard (who is apart of activision, who in turn publishes COD.) releases the BEST polished games available even though they take way more time and reimberses players online time in there WOW game when the servers go on the fritz. You would think activision and any affiliates would take a page out of the blizzard hand book. I own both ps3 and xbox and do prefer xbox but I hate that they alienate the ps3 base and if the horror stories are true then reimburse or release the map pack free of charge. 1200 microsoft points for 4 maps and a zombie map is highway robbery, bad company vietnam could be sold for way for then 1200 points with the offered content but it remains at 1200 ( take a look at that offering Activision/treyarch)

I run a 360 and have seen an increase in connection problems since the patch. What can you do? The problems should be fixed, especially if we're evolving into a "pay to play", but the developers will do whatever they want to. All they care about is making as much money as possible, as quickly as possible, and screw the consumer.

Of course there is the argument that we all knew what we were getting into by buying the game to begin with, so suck it up.
