PS3 sucks! I recently bought (2) systems and both played the blu-ray movies fine and now both players are unable to read DVD or Blu-Ray movies. Very disappointed with sony.
This is simply a lie, why would he buy two, any anyway, 0.2% of PS3's break and are replaced by sony for free in 4-5 days, And u say both broke......
I've had a PS3 for over a year and never give me any problems, also he didnt mention its internet browser, one of its best features i think.

I got my 80gb PS3 by January and I'm very pleased with it. Both, games and Blue-Ray look and sound amazing. And the best part is it's getting even better with ocassional new over-the-net firmware updates adding more and more features. I agree, PS3 is the best!

I'm also using the super-versatile OPPO DV-980H up-converting universal DVD player ($169), which is also "updateable", to cover all the pletora of CD-based media available, such as DVD-Audio, DivX, and a long list.

Not that I disagree with your opinion that the PS3 is the best Blu-Ray player, but your $240 price appears to be for a "damaged or AS-IS" PS3 from Dealtree.
http://www.dealtree.com/cart/select_item.cfm?cont=102354

$360 for a 40gb from Kmart.com appears to be the cheapest "new" player.
