		<description><![CDATA[Started having problems getting mail on the morning of the 28th on my vz blackberry.  Finally called Verizon and updated programming. Got 35 emails.  Haven&#039;t received another since then and device shows it can&#039;t connect to the mail server.  Seems like the problems continue for Verizon.  No problems with my Tmobile bb though.]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[I&#039;m in Chicago and we&#039;re seeing sporadic delays on our Verizon devices as well.  Oddly enough some people&#039;s seem to work fine but many of us are seeing bursts of emails.  I&#039;m the BES admin here and running messageflow it shows that it started late night on Jan 16th (Sunday night) and it&#039;s still going on as of Jan 27th.  I&#039;ve got a TMobile BB connected to a duplicate mailbox both of us receiving scripted emails every 5min and it hasn&#039;t had a single delay all day.  The Verizon has had several spurts of delays even after hard resetting it and re-registering it on the routing table.  No answer yet but most of us are on Verizon and it&#039;s not looking good for them.]]></description>

Just got off the phone with verizon...so angry now.  Was told the patch was put on the towers, not sent to our phones.  The problem Was supposed to be resolved this morning, told her it was not.  She told me she would &quot; pass the info along&quot; but doubted they would start opening tickets yet.  PLEASE&#039; those of you still having issues call and tell them.  Likely they will do nothing unless they continue to get complaints.  What they have done in my opinion is partially fix the problem and some people may accept the current state. The worst part for me is verizon&#039;s deceptive and incompetent response.  Oh.. The wasted hours on hold...and the worst for me is that EVERY time the first tier of tech support is not aware there is an outage until I INSIST ther is because it is all over the internet and since tier two did acknowledge an outage. Of course, I was always told the outage is rim&#039;s fault. I am thinking that verizon is just not not as motivated to service their blackberry customers because they have their android,and soon to come iPhone. Tonight, my emails are still delayed.  So afraid that i am going to wake tomorrow to find it isn&#039;t repaired and I will just go ballistic.]]></description>

When I called Verizon, they told me it was a known issue with no ETA on a fix as it was related to RIM&#039;s connectivity to the Verizon network and out of their hands. I know I should feel pretty lucky this problem has just now caught up to me (I&#039;m in Indiana), but this has been one hell of a frustrating day with no email, sporadic texts, no BBM, or other connectivity. 

I might as well have an old school LG flip phone....it would be more useful than my Blackberry is right now.]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[I support about 10 Blackberry users on my BES. Three of them are affected with 2 having intermittent connectivity and one having no connectivity at all (the CEO, of course). Very frustrating. My impression is that this is a VZW problem at its core. VZW support is sympathetic but can do nothing; they don&#039;t have loaner phones (Android or other) and they won&#039;t offer an account credit.

We are done with BB and moving to iPhones on an accelerated timetable now.]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[I support over 300 BlackBerry devices in the so Cal area and we have been having these issues for 3 weeks now.  Verizon kept saying nothing was wrong.  This week was the absoute worst.  Finally a tech at Verizon told me that the problem was with RIM and gave me a ticket number.  RIM took the number found it was a Verizon ticket that has been open for the past 3 weeks with no expected fix date.  I can understand updates, but why can&#039;t Verizon be upfront with their customers and acknowledge there is a problem! People spend hundreds of hours troubelshooting the Verizon mess.  
I was going to swithc to Verizon for my home service, but not after this.]]></description>

The fun part is that, after taking the phone to the store to troubleshoot, the tech support guys said that there are NO issues and have been NO issues so the problem must be with my company that sets up corporate email forwarding. Great support and communication guys!
Next thing I knew, email miraculously starting working again. sigh... Verizon, we&#039;ve had our problems in the past but seriously, this is very poor support. At least let us know there is a problem!
