WebMobi aims to make app creation easy

Pretty much anything you can think of these days can be answered with the phrase, "There's an app for that." But what if you come across a case where there is no app? Or maybe you just want the gratification that comes with creating your own app. Even if you have no experience in computer programming, you might find what you're looking for with WebMobi, a new platform that makes app creation a simple drag-and-drop process.

Android fans may remember Google's old App Inventor software, which essentially took the lines and lines of code that developers typically need to write, and replaced it with a graphical user interface. However, the setup was extremely limited. Users were limited to one screen of data per app. It would be like creating a website with no links. A homepage; that's it. In addition, users were unable to publish their App Inventor apps to the Android Market.

WebMobi doesn't exactly encourage users to submit their creations to official app marketplaces, but it does offer domains from which they can host their apps. In addition, the app creation process is even simpler than App Inventory, which several templates for users to choose from. Features like calendars, forms, and surveys are also included. It's designed to be an enterprise tool, so WebMobi has also integrated with Box so content like survey values or form entries are store automatically in a clean, easily accessible place. More information is available on WebMobi's website.
