Wow... just when you think the studios couldn't do anything more to alienate the viewing public. Personally, I place current and upcoming films in my queue as they show at theaters, well before they make it to disc, as a master-viewing list. Months later, they arrive. Not being able to add them to my queue until a month after they're on sale is unbelievable. The perception is that the studios are doing their best to drive Netflix out of business -- and abusive practice to say the least.

It's time to start checking every movie available and if it's from WB no sale any more. No theater, no rental, no nothing that might get them a dime. Boycott them. It's the only way it'll work. TV Shows, the works. WRite the advertisers. Write everyone.

so you wait a few days (or a month) to watch whatever you want at your leisure. I don't see the problem. If they stop renting flicks altogether, then i see a problem.

Why can't the what seems like the modern day mafia embrace this new business model and let us the consumer choose.

If I want to goto the flicks and pay upwards of £40.00 for two people with food etc then thats my choice, but on the other side I wont go and buy a dvd or bluray on a whim, give us the choice let us decide how best to use our precious spare time.

I'm sure Sky, apple etc will have its nose put out of joint too with its pay per view / track etc, I am also supprised that the Mr Bigs have not brought down imdb or rotton tomatoes as these website must have a massive impact on sales is it me or has there been a big hole in the good movie list over the last couple of years.

They are putting so much money into stopping piracy but why not invest in this new business model which will reduce piracy , making them available on release day via all media and letting the user choose how to watch will help, you cannot get hold of the film in the cinema unless you look at downloading it and thats just plain stupid, surly half the worlds populate paying £10.00 a month to stream any digital media is better then a 10th buying a cd or dvd every 2 - 3 months.

Embrace the future its here to stay if you like it or not..... dont do a kodak and get complacent. look where thats got them.

We all should cut back on buying discs / going to the movies until we get the choice of when and what to watch / listen too.
