The idea of walking on water has fascinated humankind for many centuries. This fascination has never become so close to reality as it has now with the Wavewalk, created by Massachusetts inventor, Yoav Rosen. Just been granted a patent from the United States Patent and Trademark Office, this “Upright Human Floatation Apparatus And Propulsion Mechanism” looks like what can be called kayak shoes. See video here.

“Walks on water- literally, in a normal gait.”

Yes, normal for the residents of Molassestown. He also looks like he’s dangerously close to getting his nice giant puffy yellow shoes under the waterline, which would render him quickly un-Messiahlike.
