This is so completely WRONG! The fact that people would KILL just to get a few dollars of something is morally wrong and twisted. It’s downright sick! Our country has become so obsessed with INANIMATE OBJECTS that we don’t value other’s lives anymore. It’s disgusting. Black Friday is stupid. Most people use the excuse that they are getting Christmas presents for their kids and can’tafford to get everything they want on any other day. Well NEWS FLASH people , but if you are getting your kids everything they want all the time, they are probably spoiled brats. And another thing: OBJECTS don’t equal LOVE. If you love your kid, don’t go out all day on a huge shopping spee; instead, SPEND TIME WITH THEM! Build a real relationship with them, becuase they want you in their life, whether they admit it or not, and I’m sure they are willing to have a few less presents for that. RELATIONSHIPS equal love, not items. Our wolrd has become incredibly materialistic, and that is why this happened. So the way to change it: focus more on the PERSON in your relationships, not what they get you or what you get them. I mean come on guys, get real!

Well, it’s not a good news. But it’s normal thing to occur in our poor country, Indonesia. Have you heard a news about 32 poor background ladies (age around 40 – 50 years old) Stomped, trampled, and kicked to dead because of some “Kind and Rich Peoples” want to gives each of the poor people RP.30.000,- (around $2). Thet rushed to the money and some collapsed each other which result in death.

I work at a Wal-Mart store and I worked yesterday morning and Im surprised no one got hurt there. When I heard about this employee today… I wasnt surprised. The way people come barging in is off the wall.Honestly black friday is ridiculous! Is it really all that important to get a few bucks off a tv. or some gaming system?

Deep down we really are sad and pathetic creatures, aren’t we? This is why Cyber Monday is such a good idea as apparently we as a species have forgotten how to act in large crowds. I do put partial blame on the stores though–the whole “scarcity” scam of them only having 3 or 4 of a coveted item for sale encourages competition to get it before someone else. Either have the damned item in stock in reasonable quantities or don’t bloody well do it at all.

Just for that happening, I hate the world. People are really greedy. I completely agree with the article. I mean seriously, won’t you feel good about yourself after you helped the poor guy, instead of getting 5 dollars off a dvd? C’mon. I know I would.
