The people over at Giz were able to get their hands on a pair of Vmoda’s Vibe Duo’s and have found some problems functionally. So, what do you get for a $100 pair of earphones? A leather carrying pouch, a built in mic, and varying sized earpieces.

You also get good bass response, a punchy sound, and the specially designed plug for the iPhones recessed headphone jack. What you lose is any sort of in-line remote for such necessary functions as answer/ignore calls or any sort of media functions like play/pause, skip/previous or volume.

They recommend the headphones only if you don’t do much talking on your iPhone. They also make mention of saving your money and buying the $10 Belkin adapter that allows you to use your normal headphones with the recessed jack of the iPhone.
