ajr3rd, with plasma tvs you don’t have to worry about 120hz motion processing. plasmas are 480hz anyways.

Does the vp505xvt have 120mhz processing ? The shiping cost from Vizio direct is prohibitive. Does Vizio have a larger plasma on the horizon, I see where they have a 55″ LCD coming soon. Please advise !

I’m waiting for this too. Been keeping my eyes open for awhile. I spoke to someone at Vizio the other day and they said that it will be available on Sears.com soon which is good because they often have shipping specials or in-store pick-up so I don’t have to worry about that! The guy also said the VP505XVT has TruSurround HD technology too, so now I want to hear it too.

I can’t wait to get my hands on this. Vizio has been making great tvs for the last year or so (some spotty stuff before that) and it looks like they are officially in competition with the buys guys now. For that price especially with what sounds like amazing performance I don’t know how I’m gonna be able to resist!
