Vinci MV 7 tablet aims at kids with 7-inch screen and Android

There are plenty of tablets on the market today to cover just about every price range. One of the more popular classes for tablets with lower prices is the 7-inch segment. A new tablet aimed specifically at kids and families has debuted called the Vinci MV 7 that fits into that popular 7-inch category.

The tablet is available to purchase now for $199.99. That price puts it on par with a number of name brand tablets out there, like the Kindle Fire line and others. That could make this tablet a difficult sale. The big selling point of the Vinci MV 7 tablet is that it has no commercials, no in-app purchases, no violence, and no adult content.

The tablet has built in 3G connectivity and integrated WiFi. The tablet is also GPS enabled. The 3G connectivity supports WCDMA + 1 GSM networks and the modem is unlocked. The processor under the hood of the tablet is a MTK 6755 SOC with an integrated GPU.

The operating system for the tablet is Android 4.1. The 7-inch screen has a native resolution of 1024 x 600 and supports multi touch. The tablet ships with a leather case, travel charger, and earphones with built in mic. The mic can be used for voice controlling the tablet.
