Viliv HD5 1080p PMP gets listed; launch imminent?

We've generally stuck to Viliv's MID and netbook ranges before now, but the company's HD5 PMP deserves a second look.  Built around a 5-inch WVGA capacitive touchscreen, the HD5 supports a bevy of video codecs at up to 1080p HD resolution, complete with an HDMI port for hooking up your big-screen TV.  Announced officially back at CES 2010, it's fresh to the company's website and presumably preparing for an imminent launch.

Running the show – underneath a custom Viliv UI, naturally – is Windows CE6, and there's SRS Wow HD audio processing tech together with an optional DMB digital TV tuner and DAB digital radio.  Three models are on offer, with 8GB, 16GB or 32GB of flash memory, and each has an SD/SDHC memory card slot to augment that.

Viliv reckon HD5 owners will see around 13 hours of video playback, which seems reasonable, and there's DivX, Xvid, MPEG-4, H.264 and plenty of other codecs supported.  No word on how much the HD5 will cost.
