ViewSonic ViewPad 7x and ViewPad 10Pro official

ViewSonic has officially launched the ViewPad 7x, the company's 7-inch Android Honeycomb tablet leaked earlier this month, along with bringing its new dual-booting 10-inch slate, the ViewPad 10Pro. The ViewPad 7x packs NVIDIA's Tegra 2 processor along with HSPA+, HDMI and a 1024 x 600 display, while the ViewPad 10Pro gets a 1.5GHz Intel Oak Trail Z670 processor running either Windows 7 Pro or Android 2.2.

The ViewPad 7x also has twin cameras – the rear lens getting an LED flash as well – along with a 10-point multitouch display and DLNA support. It tips the scales at 380g, and has an interesting triangular pattern on its glossy rear panel. Ports include microUSB, and interestingly ViewSonic has given the slate touch-sensitive buttons despite Honeycomb not requiring them.

Meanwhile, the ViewSonic ViewPad 10Pro is the first tablet to use an Oak Trail processor, and like its predecessor, the ViewPad 10, can switch between Android or Windows 7 depending on what you want to use it for. Announced back in February, there's 3G, WiFi and Bluetooth, a capacitive touchscreen, and a battery which ViewSonic reckon is good for up to 6hrs runtime.

No release date or pricing for either slate.
