Wanted to do some more research on it. Seems like a very nice set of hardware (better than iPad) for a price much cheaper than iPad. I noticed the video above said $529, but the report says $429. Just to be clear, I saw this tablet at Staples for about $400 (Black Friday weekend).
When trying this out, I noticed it was a bit slugish. A customer support person there also told me that this was a bit slugish. But, if you replace their version of Android 2.2 with the typical one, then it runs much better… but, this voids the warranty. Your call.
Something I’m looking forward to is the Notion Ink Adam. Sure, it’s not a known company, but the actual specs seem like what a good stable company should be doing.
