Today’s Video of the Day is just a bit disturbing. I get a lot of shipments in from different shipping companies including UPS. This video shows how one UPS driver drops off a package to a residence.

Apparently the owner of the house was tired of getting boxes containing broken merchandise, so they set up a camera to catch the UPS guy mishandling his packages. Next time you get a box with a few dents in it, you’ll probably wonder if it happened on the truck, or on the way to your door.

heh yeah that is no surprise I wouldn’t doubt to see a few guys from any of the small package shippers doing that.

    Good video.

I did a little browsing on the web on the back of this and there are some amusing and scary stories about how packages get handled (especially at the sorting offices/hubs). One poster commented:

“I live on a second floor apartment, and once I got a package (A Nintendo DS) on my balcony. I still have no idea how it got there, but the DS was fine.”

No points for guessing how that package got delivered :)
