My husband (Sean) happen to leave to article up, and I'm writing under his SN. But this is Nicole. I love netflix for children's programming because I don't have to deal with commercials. On regular cable I usually mute the child targeted advertisements, or turn off the TV to try to guess when the show comes back. Netflix is super convenient regarding time, and cuts out the advertising which I try to avoid exposing my toddler to. I wish there was an alternative to TV, where I could individually subscribe to certain channels, and I would pay the money to avoid having my children marketed to.

In all seriousness, Cartoon Network is the hands-down winner when it comes to entertaining kids stuff.

We are sick of SpongeBob reruns. All of those live tween star shows are annoying as hell--American Idol is more than annoying enough to cover every channel for the next ten years.

Nick is losing viewers because their shows suck. Thats all there is to it. Netflix provides good alternatives, sure, but even it gets old. Really old. But CN keeps it fresh and sort of hilarious.
