My kids are on set limits….and not only that but when its 100 + degrees outside, they’re time to watch tv for a little bit is in the hottest part of the day after that, they love being outside. Not everyone who watches tv is always in front of it.

Usually the content providers ask way too much for something that is way overvalued (YES, MLB), but Viacom does have a few points that they bring about the profit DirecTV makes and the price hike they implemented. If I was a subscriber of DirecTV (I have Dish), I would be pretty upset about to lose my shows and would gladly pay the extra ~$1 that they are asking per month.

I don’t have dish or cable and have 3 kids. Tons of stuff on netflix. And I built a custom pc and have it connected to our main tv. The kids can watch stuff, play games etc, on disney, disney jr, nick, pbs kids, etc. Plus their is no commercial on netflix, and commercials are a lot shorter if you watch the show on the networks website. I got rid of cable tv about 1 year ago, and it is def worth it.

If dtv looses them they need to lower our rates. If you have the package that I have you don’t get boomerang nor sprout and most of cartoon network is not age appropriate for children.
