Verizon's LTE Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 gets priced for 4G duty

Verizon has officially announced the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 4G LTE, its high-speed version of the 10.1-inch Android Honeycomb slate. Up for pre-order on June 8, with availability expected "this summer", the Tegra 2 tablet is priced from $529.99.

That gets you the 16GB model; if you want the 32GB version it'll cost you $629.99. Verizon will demand a two-year agreement, however. Your money gets you basically the same tablet as we reviewed – in Limited Edition form – last month, a slimline slate with a 3-megapixel rear camera, 2-megapixel front camera, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS.

Verizon is also readying some of the accessories for the Galaxy Tab 10.1 we've already seen, including the full-sized QWERTY keyboard dock, and the multimedia dock. No word on pricing for those, however. You can pre-order at www.verizonwireless.com/galaxytab4glte come June 8.
