Revenue flop??? LOL! Any device that keeps a customer on a network is hardly a “revenue flop”. Androids have helped Verizon retain and gain customers.

You say that Apple builds hardware then focuses on software and services…
Is that a joke?

Apple, and more directly Steve Jobs, make it a point to design software and then design hardware that won’t get in the way of the experience of using the software.

Take it easy champ.
That line about a cult following was from 2009, the iPhone was already very successful but was still a relatively new phenomenon.
In what ways has Android been a revenue flop for Verizon? Because of heavy phone subsidies? You should really clarify.
I’ll agree that AT&T’s service is absolutely horrid in most areas. I just moved to Columbus and it’s unusable most of the time. However it really is location dependent. I had dramatically different results as I drove across the U.S. with my phone.
Neither webOS nor WP7 are dead. It’s easy to dismiss them offhand, but let’s give WP7 a chance to get some legs and work out kinks. Let’s give HP a chance to revitalize the webOS brand on the 9th. Each one brings unique traits and strengths to the table. Many people find iOS to be a great fit for their needs and I’ll assume you’re one of them. That’s great..but one size hardly fits all.

Your head is firmly up your ass in many ways Avi.
Cult following? They don’t sell millions of devices that way.
Android has been a flop for Verizon when it comes to revenue. Which is the only thing that matters.
AT&T network has failed in three areas? WTF? the AT&T has generally poor coverage in most places which is a bigger story than those three areas.
Verizon is not going to invest in WebOS or Windows Phone 7 because they are both already dead. Apple is not worried about either one of those.
