Does that mean they are removing ‘Lets Golf 2′, ‘NFL Mobile’, ‘NFS Shift’, ‘Rhapsody’, ‘Slacker’, and ‘YouTube’ as well? I sure hope so because they not only take up storage once but a second time when updates are installed since the original app cannot be removed as it is hard-coded.

this doesn’t necessarily get rid of bloatware, it just means the end of the verizon branded app store

Well, some experiment comes to an end there. It’s good enough that there are two marketplaces. Numbers are clear indication that it’s all going to be Android and iOS mostly (with some Windows too, may be).

Verizon like HTC should stick to its knitting. Apple’s great Apps were free from Google; its profit from its App store greatly exaggerated.
