ATT LTE network has been functioning for like three months and they just recently released their first LTE compatible phone. GIve them a year, when they have as many devices on the network as Verizon and they will probably have similar problems. Also, this is most likely not a spectrum problem or the network being over utilized, it is most likely the way the network communicates with the devices that is going haywire. Next, yes because at my houseI use wifi so I do have a very fast connection, and granted ATT HSPA network is faster than Verizon's CDMA network, just less reliable and nowhere near as fast as LTE. Lastly, I have no idea what you are talking about when you are saying CDMA is not as compatible with LTE as GSM. LTE is a completely different technology than CDMA or GSM, hence, why there are two networks.

Ok, Im With ATT on an iPhone 4 that only receives 3G connectivity. Even on 3G I get speeds over 5 mbps. And while CDMA may be more reliable for phone calls; because it is an older technology, it is not as compatible with LTE as GSM is. Thats why Verizons network has crashed 3 times with in the past couple months and ATT's uprising 4G LTE has had no problems (limited as it may be for the time being.) As for the criticism, its because Verizon's deployment of Nationwide LTE (granted, a ballsy step forward) is a poor attempt. It wouldnt be bad if they said " Yes were having some trouble with our 4G LTE, but come on, were the first to deploy such a network worldwide". But they have said no such thing. Rather, their trying to cover it up and lie and downplay the issues. Can you honestly say that doesnt make you mad, especially when you payed probably around $300 for your phone and at least $100 a month for your bill? By the way, are you enjoying your "25+ mbps download and streaming" right now? Or has the network finally turned back on?

CDMA is more reliable than HSPA, it is utilized by the military because of it can penetrate through denser materials then HSPA. Also, LTE is not CDMA it is LTE and since it is a newly deployed technology their are going to be hiccups. Verizon is rapidly deploying an LTE across the United States where their competition has just started deploying an actual 4g service. Lastly, Verizon has always offered a superior data and voice service compared to their competition in terms of reliability. So if you are going to criticize a company for taking a leap and being the first to deploy a new service on a large scale, LTE, then stay with another provider. As for me, I will enjoy 25 + mbps downloads and stream all the HBO go I want while you have trouble making a phone call and getting 3 Mbps on a consistent basis.

God Verizon sucks... Verizon may be more reliable when it comes to phone calls (even if it is only 1 out of every 1000 calls made) but Jeez, their data network is garbage! Oh well, it's to be expected with CDMA...
