There’s just too many people out there that enjoy the Android OS. Does Verizon want the the iPhone? Yes they do but I doubt they will soften there negotiations so much as to pay Apple for exclusivity (besides… I dont want all that iPhone traffic locked to Verizon).

On a side note from that, I can’t think of a better way to prove network capability then pitting the same phone against each other on different networks… screw we cover 97% of Americans… when you can say we have the best network period!
