The 2nd and 4th are the same slot, I am not saying that its a sim card slot, but its the same in both pictures. There are only 2 ends to a phone.

I just had my pet monkey match the 2 ends.

Going to find a caveman, next.

The CES starts tomorrow. Hopefully there will be some good news there. Although I think that if there was a Verizon iPhone unveiled there, Apple would have been setting up their website for the news. Looks like no activity there.

Your correct on the sim card. The new lte modems require the sim card now in order to work on the new 4g network.

Actually I think the SIM card slot is shown on the long side of the phone facing us in pictures 1, 2 and on the top of picture 4. If it is, then unless Verizon is doing something goofy with the iPhone, then this, if it is real, is just an update to the iPhone 4.

I have heard Verizon’s 4G LTE will be using a sim card now, so not only will the iPhone have built in CDMA, it will also have the option for the 4G LTE network for people who can use it.

That’s not a sim slot. The first picture is the top, notice it’s solid between the earphone jack and power button. The second picture I believe is the one you mistook for a sim slot is the bottom, what the long slot in the second picture is where the charger goes in.
