I love my new iphone4, at first I was skeptical about buying it, but after using it for a while I’ve come to realize how amazing it is. Everything about it is amazing. The battery life, the apps, camera, FaceTime, calling and texting, ipod features, it does it all; and super quick too. I wouldn’t trade this phone for anything in the world. I even typed all tris out on my phone:)

The one big problem I see with the phone is, “phone”. It drops calls in places it should not. The people I work with use Verizon and I can not talk in over 50% of the area I’m in now.

We wouldn’t mind seeing a few more connectivity ports like a micro HDMI it does deliver a lot more than your typical tablet. Even though this isn’t the cheap sub $200 tablets we are used to seeing out of this region its functionality almost makes it comparable to products like the Dell Streak or even Samsung Galaxy Tab s but at a cheaper price.

If you’re looking for a Solar Charger for the Verizon iPhone you don’t have much longer to wait. Between February 18 – February 25 you will see an Apple approved Solar Charger on the market. I doubt you will have a hard time finding it. I’m not sure if the Verizon version will yet be available then but the GSM version will be. It could take a bit longer for the Verizon iPhone solar charger to be available. The Verizon iPhone has slightly different measurements making it necessary to create a different mold for the Verizon solar charger model. Ask your dealer about it.

I know this is off topic, but I don’t know if anyone has been watching the soon to release of the Verizon iPhone 4, I was on Facebook this morning when I saw a new iPhone 4 case that looks rather clean contour and minimalist in design. Getting ready pre-ordered my Verizon iPhone 4. I went over to Mivizu and ordered the new Alien EPIX case.

Check it out. I think most people would like the new design.

So, a good article, over all…except for the glaring error of repeatedly referring to AT&T’s network as GSM when comparing dataspeeds. While it is true that AT&T’s 2G and 2.5G Networks are GSM, their 3G network is UMTS. While UMTS is an evolution out of GSM (emphasis on ‘out of’), it used W-CDMA, so you could just as easily refere to it as CDMA, though that would be just as inaccurate as referring to UMTS as GSM.
The reason that you can’t surf and talk over Verizon’s iPhone has nothing to do with Verizon Policy–it is a limitation of EVDO–it does not support simulataneous voice and data from the same radio deck, whereas UMTS does.
By the way, Verizon currently has no plans to offer Voice service over LTE.

It is unfortunate that neither AT&T nor Verizon is completely engaged on providing what the customer wants.

If, like many on the SlashGear team – and many thousands of other would-be users – the iPhone 4′s functionality caters to your needs, but the AT&T network doesn’t, then the Verizon version addresses that.”

…right, but, what about waiting until tomorrow to get the device you can’t get today…? Especially if what you have today is doing what you need. At the very least, I’d wait until June and see what’s coming next.

Most people I know are committed to Verizon contracts and don’t have the current ability to upgrade their phone to the Verizon iPhone 4. Looks like I’ll be waiting for the Verizon iPhone 5 when it’s out by late this year.
