I agree - I really think it is well past the time wherein consumers and businesses alike are given every option from ALL carriers. I happen to be a loyal Sprint business customer, and I recently upgraded from the Blackberry to Palm Pre (back in June 2009) and then from the Palm Pre to the Samsung Epic 4G (Android - back in November 2010). If all carriers are able to carry all platforms and similar hardware, customer service, voice and data plans, and so much more will only get that much better! I might be hoping for too much, but we all have to dream, right?

To Ben's points

smaller execs will be present

Prob will NOT have LTE, as Apple likes to roll out with low first out gear and then step up with maybe a SOC setting to upgrade for $19. to LTE phone

Apple is pretty dead set on their branding, but big V’s breadth may negotiate differ

It will be name the “The Slayer” As in AT & T Slayer!

Any way it rolls out, Puts and Calls take place to make money off of AT&T's stock dropping and V's going up... Look at the market opportuntiy in P & Cs for the next 180 days. Make some money kids..

I am not sure i'm not a developer but if you are perhaps you can answer. Why would there need to be new device ID if its the same as the iPhone 4 just on VZ?

I'd think all iPhone 4's dev specs would be the same. Therefore its simply the device ID of the iPhone 4?

If there's a Verizon iPhone coming, then why haven't we seen the new device IDs pop up in the SDK? Typically when Apple releases a new device, the device ID appears in the SDK weeks or months ahead of time.

As much as I'd like to believe there could be a CDMA iPhone in the works, it just doesn't add up.

I doubt it would be DOA for Most. AT&T issues are based primarily, according to 1 AT&T Engineer with Whom I spoke, "Well, We actually were not expecting Anyone to try to make a call with the iPhone. We were hoping Users would be satisfied with the online experience and just use Skype, for example." I will admit, I was thrown for a proverbial loop, which is not easy to do, when I heard the Engineer's claim. From what I understand, however, AT&T has been working to improve the phone portion of Their network. Verizon, on the other hand, appears to already have sufficient coverage to handle the traffic load.

But, this is all speculation. I am not yet convinced tomorrow's announcement will be about the iPhone, primarily because I don't listen to Sources unwilling to go on the record. For all I know, the source could be a Fraud or a rogue Employee seeking to make Apple and/or Verizon and/or AT&T look bad.

Really, Jeff? You couldn't have written something which sounds less like the internet equivalent of a temper tantrum? I'm sure You meant to say something like, "No matter what network the iPhone is on, use an Android on the same network and the Android will work better." (Unless, of course, You are just a Troll.)

If this is an iPhone that doesn't have LTE, then I would suggest it's "dead-on-arrival". Verizon users like myself who've held off for some years from buying an iPhone did so because of the poor network offered by AT&T. A poor network today is anything that isn't 4G/LTE. I personally would wait until an LTE version comes out, if that's not what's announced tomorrow.
