After having one for a while and love it. However Verizon and Samsung support are lacking. The unit will not send e-mails on my home wireless network. I am forced to use the Verizon data system. The unit, or Verizon, sometimes strips .jpeg files from my outbound e-amails. After an hour on the phone with their IT folks, I discovered they do not have a clue about the cause.

Bought a Galaxy Tab recently and very happy with the purchase. The graphics and the touch screen are excellent! I wished I would have waited for the 10” model to be available though.

I was looking for a simple sleeve case that wouldn’t cost an arm and a leg and found a small company, called http://www.nuvo-tek.com which sells a simple sleeve for only $7.95 with shipping included.

If anyone knows where I can get a portable standalone battery charger at a good price, please let me know.

i got a Sansung Galaxy Tablet tablet from a friend from USA its by Verizon. I can not open /activate it here in the philippines. Is there any posibility to unlocked it ?

I’m good with the Best Buy Wifi version rumored to sell soon at $499. Why get stuck with a Verizon contract? Not a fun company to deal with.

Well, on XDA forum, there is a guide how to make the T-Mobile device to dial/receive call. It’s really stupid for, I think, the carrier (or Samsung?) to take this feature away while Europe version works out-of-the-box. We the consumers in US always suffer some bullsh*t reasons they could come up with.

Karen, Verizon contract is month-to-month contract. You’re not forced to sign any 2-year contract.

I just brought my 8 inch tablet from VairTech and it works great. I get all the same benefits without paying $599 or being lock into a 2 Year contact.

I know it’s a bit big to use as a cell phone, but a bluetooth headset would take care of that! I would have bought it in an instant if had actually married tablets and cell phones, but they bombed it – again.

Got an update from our follower on YouTube (user: ConceptVBS)

“The “proprietary” cable was used to speed up the battery charging capability of the device. Having a 4000mah battery will take forever for micro USB to trickle charge.

Using the “proprietary” cable you can almost fully charge the device in about 2-3 hours.”
