The Transformer Prime is arguably the best Android tab, no debate there. However, this review is a bit unfortunate; it seems as if the iPad's brightness has been lowered to make it look dull. I have these games on my iPhone 4 and they look exactly as they do on the Nexus and Asus. What’s even more surprising is that judging from this video there are no significant differences in load and response times between the game play I get on the single core iPhone 4 and what is on the Asus and Google Nexus. The only difference is that whereas on the Nexus there is almost no break in scene transitions, on the iPhone 4 there is almost a one second load time delay, other than that the game play am seeing on the Nexus is exactly what am getting on the iPhone 4.

Relative to the Asus it’s almost as if my iPhone loads faster. The problem is that most people will take this comparison as the last word without trying the two games on both devices.

If truth be told the differences in these clips do not match the slightly better hardware of both the Asus vs. iPad and Nexus vs. iPhone 4. There are not earth shattering and will hardly alter the user experience, more so given that the Riptide GP is optimised for the Tegra 3 and the fact that the iPad 2’s dual core processor is under clocked.

Let’s wait and see how the iPad 3 responses to what is arguably the best Android tab to date by far.

In the meantime let me get ShadowGun on my HTC and see how that goes.
