Verizon DROID Turbo full specs leak

We've heard a lot about the DROID Turbo in recent times, not the least of which includes leaks that seemingly happened by accident from Verizon itself. Now, ahead of the launch later this month, the full list of specifications have leaked, as well as shots of the phone from the front and back. According to the folks at Droid Life, Motorola's upcoming smartphone will feature a 5.2-inch display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and Gorilla Glass 3, as well as a slew of other details we have for you after the jump.

Under the DROID Turbo's hood will lie a Qualcomm 2.7GHz Snapdragon 805 quad-core processor, 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of internal storage (there's no mention of a microSD slot). Around back is said to be a hefty 21-megapixel camera with dual LED flash and the ability to, among other things, record up to 4k-resolution video.

Connectivity, according to the leak, includes 4G LTE and being XLTE-ready. There will be Advanced Calling 1.0 and VoLTE support within up to 90 days from the launch date, as well. This is joined by a 3900mAh battery that will give 48 hours of run time, as well as a Turbo Charger that will give the handset 8 hours' worth of charge in 15 minutes.

The phone itself will be somewhat durable, though unfortunately the design isn't terribly appealing. The phone will have a coating that makes it water resistant for up to 20 minutes in downpouring rain, as well as resistant to scratches. The back cover, with its industrial-like design, is reinforced with Kevlar, and the phone is made with Metallized Glass Fiber.

Rounding out the leak is software, which is said to include exclusive Zap apps (Zap Zone/Voice/TV) and the expected Moto apps like Assist, Voice, Display, Migrate, and Actions. Check out the timeline below for other recent leaks.
