Horriable process.Can’t they just have a technician at the store that can do the 4G.
This is crazy.Thumbs down to Motorola, I thought you were better then this.Please put a technician at the store rather then sending out the tablet.

Yea, Motorola’s strategy is confusing… I think it will definitely effect their sales. However, there are probably enough consumers such as myself who want their tablet to have access to Verizon’s 4G network regardless…. I’m betting they will still easily sell 5M+ by the end of the year.

I think Motorola is making a huge mistake giving Verizon time to make some money before releasing a wifi only model. They will lose business -plain and simple. The IPad2 is due soon as well as other comparable android tablets.

Yep, the wifi version is going to cost around $600, a couple hundred dollars from the 3G version. (http://venturebeat.com/2011/02/16/xoom-wifi/). But android enthusiasts like me will probably not want to wait 2-3 months. Come on, it’s Android 3.0! The Honeycomb! *drools*

Your asuming that people are going to drop the money for it in the first place. Cant imagine a huge uptake until the Wifi version comes along or they drop the price by afew hundred dollars.
