That sucks! I REALLY wanted this phone but like some other people, I’m not going to Verizon. I hope another phone with a 4.65 inch (or greater), 720p screen comes out soon for T-Mobile… I won’t hold my breath! -Eric

I would love to have the Galaxy Nexus. But I will not switch to Verizon to get it. If it goes to other providers also, then here I come. If it’s exclusive to Verizon, I won’t have a Nexus. And I think I’ll live without it.

the os is laggy. have u played with it? ya i dont think so. High Quality pastic is better then galss. it doeant break! Yes its very high quality plastic. The screen has a higher contrast making deeper blacks and brighter colors. Ive seen AMOLED displays. AMAZING. But your right. the Galaxy nexus has 316ppi and the iPhone has 326ppi. And i know u can see the difference between the 2 with ur super human vision. and again it has viewing angles the same as the iphone. but are u really going to hold your phone at an 80 degree angle from ur face? Android has more features and costomization. and it looks more technical! so amazing. be jealous. The galaxy nexus us 800mhz faster then ur glass piece of crap.

What else would you expect from a Android hater. Nothing new. Keep talking smack.

Typical Apple zombie talking smack out the wazoo. Apple zombies dismiss features and options the iPhone doesn’t have compared to an Android phone. Not important till Apple adopts year old ideas then all of a sudden it’s magical. Completely ignoring what other smartphones already had for awhile.

I’ve already heard the same old arguments from biased Apple product owners about how big displays are a hassle. How they don’t need drop down notification bars. How faster processors aren’t needed. How 8 megapixels is a waste compared to a 5 mp camera, etc, etc.

Come around next year all of the Apple zombies will praise how Apple did right with a bigger display and faster LTE service. Puh-lease

What do you know? Really. Handle fits you just fine.

iPhone 4S has a slower processor, smaller screen, lower resolution, and most importantly….no LTE! Why WOULDN’T you spend an extra hundred for the Galaxy Nexus?

Considering that the display is one of the most praised attributes of the new Galaxy Nexus, some citations/references would be in order. The very nature of an OLED screen results in near perfect viewing angle and I don’t see how the Galaxy Nexus’ screen resolution @ 1280×720 can be considered ‘less sharp’ than the 4S @ 960×640. That is 50% more pixels to look at!

So far even the Android kids reviews have said the screen is subpar, the OS is laggy like all Android devices, and the build is cheap and plasticky like all Samsung devices.
In particular the screen has grossly over saturated colors, is not as sharp as the iPhone retina display, and has poor viewing angles. On Samsung and Googles flagship device.
Heckuva job.

Well as a fluke I actually walked into a Verizon store last night and bought a Galaxy Nexus for $199 and am getting a $50 rebate bringing it to $149.

You could get an iPhone 4 for $99 and the new 4s for $199. Why would you get nexus prime for 300 If your going to spend that much might as well get a 32g iPhone 4s or even drop 100 more for the 64gb iPhone.

If i am not mistaken there were five models of the galaxy Nexus on the Samsung site. The phone has a penta band..will work with Tmobile, Att not sure about Sprint but they could easily fix that. Verizon can have their exclusive but i won’t be changing carriers to get this phone. If it doesn’t come to Tmobile, i will buy it unlocked, besides it already has all the Tmo bands. But i hope Google will not shoot themselves on the foot and let such a crucial sales period pass them by without unleashing this monster of a device to as many carriers as possible. Given that they have a product that is hot and in high demand at this moment..they should unleash it to the masses and stop all the exclusive none sense. Come next year more powerful dual cores and even Quad cores will be arriving with ICS in tow..that will certainly peel away those who wanted the Galaxy Nexus but who still don’t have it in hand yet. Also missing specs like the lack of a micro SD card slot again this time, a more powerful processor, those who dwell on higher than 5Mpx cams, lack gorilla glass etc will be magnified when compared to upcoming devices hence resulting in atrophy of potential G-Nex buyers. In short..Google should get the Galaxy Nexus to the masses, all possible carriers now b4 the holiday sales rush and the avalanche of other quad core ICS devices in early 2012.

The SCH-i515 is probably a Verizon exclusive. Though this would leave out Sprint. But maybe there will be a 3rd model number for sprint, but since the model number is different for other carriers they can claim exclusively on this particular model.
