Launched at the 2006 Paris Auto Show, the Venturi Eclectic is a commuter electric vehicle that resembles the Flintstone mobile mashed with the Mars rover. It is designed to be self-charging, with solar panels on the roof along with a small wind generator. It sits three, and tops out at 50kph. Will be in full production for 2008. I personally think they should add pedals so you have the option of logging in your daily exercise while generating electricity for your car. Or, it could be good for times when it’s not sunny nor windy, and you’re helplessly far far away from an electrical outlet.
