I recently installed a Venstar T5800 with my new Air Conditioner, and after all the calibration was done, it turns out to be the best Thermostat that I have ever owned. It is really easy to read the current temperature and adjust up or down if you desire. Also to go from Cool to Heat is also very simple. If you buy this Thermostat, you will not be disappointed. Also you can install up to 100 of your favorite photos to run in screen saver mode. For me, that was a real plus and I would have bought the Thermostat without that feature. The thing that I really liked is that you can set up all the features with a computer program that they provide free so that when the Thermostat is installed on the wall, it is ready to go. Any adjustments that you have to make should be easy to do. The Thermostat comes with a 56 page manual, so any question you may have will be in there. If you are technically inclined, this Thermostat is a piece of cake to set up and have installed. My A/C installer performed the actual connection of the thermostat to the A/C.
