Velocity Micro SmallBlock desktop computers offer Intel Core or AMD A10 APU

Velocity Micro has announced a new line of desktop computers that use compact enclosures and still offer nice hardware inside. The line of computers is called the SmallBlock desktop line and the machines are fully customizable. Velocity Micro is shipping the machines right now starting at $749.

The enclosure for the desktop computers is small measuring in at 12.75" H x 8" W x 9.1" D. The chassis was designed for performance, cooling, and style according to the company. Despite being a physically small enclosure, it still has room inside for double width graphics cards and a full size ATX power supply.

The case is satin black and made from aluminum. The machines can be customized for home office, pro workstation, or gaming. The machines can be fitted with Intel Core i3, i5, or i7 processors along with Xeon options. Buyers can also opt for an AMD A10 APU as well.

Storage is available in SSD or standard HDD flavors. The machine also comes with a single optical drive with DVD burner and Blu-ray options. The SmallBlock line of PCs are fanless and use passive cooling tech for quiet operation.
