How many viruses and how much spam do you get everyday on your home computer? how many times have you received a bomb or anthrax in the mail?

Sure physical mail is safer assuming it makes it to the right address(hope that private info doesn’t land in a neighbor’s mailbox), remains unopened until you get it(bye bye money), and you get to the mailbox a short time after delivery(so no one goes through it), and no one decides to send dangerous stuff to you(such as the anthrax scare).

A cork board and refrigerator magnet may have never been hacked but houses/businesses sure as hell have been broken into. Its all about calculated risks, and right now I don’t really see it leaning in USPS favor.

As a business person who relies on usps impossible to beat first class parcel prices.. I say you are wrong..

They were doing fine before bush era congressional folly caused them to have to fund 75 years of pensions in 10 years.

Saturday delivery is a big benefit over other services.. why eliminate one of their best competitive edges?

I’m tired of people bagging on usps.. its a great service. UPS on the other hand is expensive as Hell and slow as molasses.

I’ve delivered mail for 23 years and never missed a day because of a virus. Can’t say the same for our home computer.

USPS is a relic of the past. I’m tried of it threatening Congress and the public. It’s way overstaffed, still. Get rid of Saturday service. It either stands on its own financially or else.

Spam and viruses are bad, but they can’t be worst than receiving Anthrax or package bombs in your mail?

USPS is in so much financial trouble because some PR guy in a corner office wasted so much money on stupid PR ads like these.
