USB wall socket concept should be included in housing code

Just about every gadget I have can be charged from a USB port. The number of things that charges using USB is always growing too. A new concept wall outlet has a normal plug (normal for Europe anyway) and a couple USB ports as well.

The idea is that you don’t have to take up the often scarce outlets in your office or other room with a USB adapter. You can use the normal outlets for your printer or computer and plug your iPhone into the USB ports in the outlet.

This is a great idea and I would love to see this be included in housing code so every outlet in the home had USB ports. It would certainly make charging your gadgets easier. The design was awarded an iF Concept Award.
