I tend to get in a rush when I get home from stocking up on food for the week, so I tend to forget to toss my Mountain Dew in the fridge. So then when I get thirsty I get to play the freezer game where I put it in and try to remember to take it out before it becomes a big chunk of ice.

This little USB-powered fridge is big enough for one can of your favorite caffeinated beverage and sits at about 47-degrees. I’m no mathematician, but I’m pretty sure that putting a can of pop in a fridge at that temperature will take a while to cool down to where it’s good to drink. Not to mention this thing is likely going to suck about as much juice as it possibly can from your USB port.
I’m not sure that it’s worth the $33 price tag, it seems like a good idea, but I think I’d rather just get one of these instead. It’s quicker and cheaper, plus it doesn’t take up one of my precious USB ports.

Yes, this definitely worth the money. I’m a geek who would not leave my chair to get more ice for my drinks :p lol

That’s why I have a regular mini-fridge that’s not much more than a quick roll of the chair away :P

I’m sure you could somehow tap into the cooling systems on those 3 G5’s that you have sitting around :P

Unless it can chill that single can in a couple minutes (and really, only 47°? that’s lukewarm at best! Give me 33° or give me tap water!), forget it. I mean, it’s cute and all, but really, what’s the point? Make it large enough to hold a 2 litre and I’ll buy it.

Not worth it. It takes forever and only cools the bottom of the drink. And that’s with a mere 8oz Red Bull.
