I’m all for useless gadgets, as you all know by now. And the USB Mice Wheel is no doubt useless, yet manages to be pretty fun at the same time. And while we may all sometimes feel like a lab rat running to nowhere, it is not meant to be a statement on humanity.

Instead, this gadget shows how quickly you can type. In fact, your typing speed powers it. All you have to do is plug the USB Mice Wheel into your computer’s USB port. Then get to typing.

The faster you type, the faster the little mouse will run. That’s all it does, but I can see how this would be fun for someone struggling to meet a deadline and really needs a bit of silly motivation to type faster.
