Why should America's Air Force give business to Samsung over an American company? The whole point of self defense is being able to provide for it, yourself, not outsource to foreign companies. Yes, I know where Apple's products are assembled. My comments still apply.

Also, Samsung has not "shown how adept" they are at programming anything. They are not a software company and they can't even get firmware right for their Blu-Ray players. Mine has gone through around twenty and still has bugs. Check the popular AV forums and see for yourself. Junk.

Even putting aside my first remarks why would any rational company want to buy computing devices from a company that makes hundreds, maybe even thousands, of non-related products, like refrigerators, over a company with a limited product line that specializes in such devices, like Apple?

Finally, a "copy" of something, in this context, doesn't mean it performs as well as the original.

According to Apple itself, the Galaxy Tab 10.1 is a copy of the iPad 2, so there is no reason why the AirForce couldn't buy Samsung. As for the apps themselves, Samsung and others have shown how adept they are programming around iOS.
