What? That’s not even close to “force removal media lock-down”. Give me a break!

This is simply a policy change, that’s it. The title of this article makes it sound like they really have locked down media, as in using group policy or something to not allow removable media at all. That would be forced.

This is no news at all.

Did this just Claim “We the Government of the US need to Lie to you” its not about leaks a leaks would be before the act, this is about the truth being told, cover ups being Uncovered… a new Policy of openness and Honesty needs to be Mandatory for any Government we allow to govern us.

So, the real wikileaks culprit is Maj. Gen. Richard Webber, who by issuing belated counter–measures, claims responsibility for the theft. Can you believe it, regular PCs attached to a classified network? What became of terminals? What became of common sense? What became of background checks, feet on the ground, not just credit reports, of personnel for security clearances. I had a humble top secret (crypto) clearance and people in my home town were questioned. I knew nothing about anything else going on based on my need to know. A million now have access to SIPRNET; a million clearance investigations? Fat chance.
Let Pfc Manning go. Lock up the network security people.
