Yes, US Cellular has a lot of good things going for it. I have been a customer of US Cellular, AT&T, and Verizon. I am with US Cellular now, but I really miss the iPhone that I had with AT&T. I was led to believe that US Cellular would be getting the iPhone, so took a chance with that. Now I am stuck with an Android phone that is not as intuitive or easy to use as the iPhone, and an android tablet that has some quirky problems. I want my iPhone, and I want US Cellular as my provider. Grrrrr!

I can comment on Sprint. Had a Palm Pre and then a Blackberry Curve in 2010. Both phones dropped 80% of the calls in my home and had a delay to switch towers when I went to my office. I was FIRED as a customer by Sprint under my unlimited plan because the fine print of the agreement says that you cannot exceed 800 minutes of roaming in a month. I receive a lot of phone calls in real estate. I was in roaming mode from my office. Sprint said their coverage map said my office should get great service without roaming. I asked them which carrier was picking up my roaming signal when they wanted to fire me. It was US Cellular. Sprint agreed to give me a 2 month credit to leave the company but I was stuck with my expensive phone. Their math in calculating a 2 month credit is way different from the arithmetic I learned in grade school. I have US Cellular again. In the past 25 years I have had the other major carriers too. BTW, US Cellular does not even drop calls in the basement of my home and I get 5 bars signal strength in my office.

u.s. cellular has the highest rated customer satisfaction rate in the country. way better than at&t or Verizon. and the 3g is fine. and unlike most their unlimited is 5gb, which from what ive herd is way better than the big guys except maybe sprint. now 4g i have to concede is non existent from what i know. but that will change soon, but theres only Verizon that i know of with real 4g, so hats not that big of a deal for me.

A pretty decent wireless provider with decent coverage, good voice quality, and customer friendly practices(such as "belief points" which you earn every month you're with them, on contract or off, that can be used for phone upgrades), free battery swaps, all at decent prices. Why?
