I was set and ready to buy the SG3 32 gig version for $249 last week, then I noticed that the SGNOTE2 16 gig is coming to US Cellular by the end of October for $299. I preordered the Note instead. For $50 more and beast of the quad core vs dual core plus a lot more, I'll gladly take 16 gigs over 32 gigs, I'll just put in a 64 gig Micro SD card, problem solved. So looking forward to the end of October now.

I didn't bash you at all. Just simply said that an Android phone that has all the functionality as the GNote 2 can't be based on the iPhone pricing scale that was designed for that phone market. The GS3 is an iPhone competitor and it has the same pricing scale. But the Note doesn't cater to the iPhone/ GS3 market. It offers so much more than either of those. And its a much bigger device. Putting it at the same price point as the GS3 makes no sense. Those whole point of the Note is that its a step up from the GS3/iPhone. You obviously know that if you want to switch. You just have to compare what you get for the price. If you don't think its worth it then the Note 2 isn't for you.

Comon man! LOL. I am not bashing anything. Im simply saying "No Thanks". That price is not reasonable to me. My hopes are through the roof when it comes to getting the GNote2. But it must come at the same price range as the iPhone. 16gb $299, 32gb $299, 64gb $399.

If Samsung wants to take a bite out of Apple,(and convert Apple fans to Samsung) they MUST have comprable pricing. I have talked to many friends, family and co-workers. I have also been reading many blogs and tech sites about the GNote2. Almost all agree with my statement about price. They (we) are extremely ready to drop our iPhones and grab the GNote 2. But if costs more than the top of the line iPhones, many people are going to pass on switching.

You have a different opinion. AWESOME!! We can all think differently with out being a douche to people that dont agree. Your already sold on the GNote2. Good for you. I am nearly sold on it. I just need it in my price range. So bashing me on my opinion is VERY irrelevant.

Don't even TRY to compare the functionality of the Note with the price ranges of the iPhone. The Note destroys it in every way. Not to mention is has a MUCH bigger screen and almost double the battery capacity. Look at Verizon. The plain boring Razr was $299 when it came out. And so was every other serious phone they got. The Note was the first phone AT&T charged $299 for and then It dropped to $249 later. Not to mention the Note has expandable storage. So basing the pricing of an Android phone solely on its storage is kind of irrelevant.

$299 for a 16gb Note? No thanks. $299 for a 32gb Note sounds more appropriate to me.

How is $299 a little steep? Verizon prices all their new phones (or has in the past at least) at $299, regardless of if they're worth it or not. Besides the original Note (I'm typing on it) was $299 when it came out as well. But seriously, look at all the phone you get for that price.
